Ⅰ. Advantages of outdoor thermal security camera

1. It can be used normally during the day and night;

2. It can be used in extreme weather;

3. Obstacles such as fog, rain and smoke can be seen through;

4. All heat-generating objects have nowhere to hide.

Ⅱ. Outdoor thermal security camera application

With the development of optoelectronic information, microelectronics, network communication, digital video, multimedia technology and sensing technology, security monitoring technology has moved from traditional analog to highly integrated digital, intelligent, and networked.

With the increase in market demand, modern high-tech has almost been applied or will be applied in security monitoring systems. Outdoor thermal security camera technology, which is developing rapidly in modern sensing technology, has also begun to be applied in security protection systems.

The wavelength of visible light that our human eyes can feel is 0.38-0.78 microns. Usually we call electromagnetic waves longer than 0.78 microns as infrared rays. In nature, all objects radiate infrared rays. Therefore, using a detector to measure the infrared difference between the target itself and the background, different infrared images can be obtained, called thermal images.

The thermal image of the same target is different from the visible light image. It is not the visible light image that the human eye can see, but the image of the target surface temperature distribution. In other words, the infrared thermal image is that the human eye cannot directly see the surface temperature distribution of the target. It becomes a thermal image that can be seen by the human eye and represents the temperature distribution of the target surface.

All objects in nature whose temperature is above absolute zero (-273°C) emit infrared rays. Infrared rays (or thermal radiation) are the most widespread radiation in nature. The atmosphere, smoke, etc. absorb visible light and near-infrared rays, but are transparent to infrared rays of 3 to 5 microns and 8 to 14 microns.

Therefore, these two bands are called the "atmospheric window" of infrared. Using these two windows, we can clearly observe the situation ahead in a completely dark night or in a harsh environment with dense smoke. It is precisely because of this feature that infrared thermal imaging technology can be used in night surveillance and forest fire monitoring systems for security protection.

A device that uses infrared thermal imaging technology to detect the infrared radiation of a target object, and converts the temperature distribution image of the target object into a video image by means of photoelectric conversion and signal processing. We call it an infrared thermal imager.

Outdoor thermal security cameras can be divided into two categories: refrigerated and non-refrigerated. Refrigeration type has high thermal sensitivity and complex structure. Generally used for military use. Non-refrigeration type has lower sensitivity than refrigeration type, but its performance can meet most military applications and almost all civilian fields. Because it does not need to be equipped with a refrigeration device of thermal camera parts, the feasibility and cost performance of the uncooled thermal imager are higher than that of the refrigerated type.

1. Monitoring of targets at night and under severe weather conditions

At night, due to well-known reasons, visible light equipment can no longer work normally. If artificial lighting is used, it is easy to expose the target. If low-light night vision equipment is used, it also works in the visible light band and still needs external light illumination. The outdoor thermal security camera passively receives the infrared heat radiation of the target itself, and can work normally during the day and night, and will not expose itself.

Also under severe weather conditions such as rain and fog, because the visible light has a short wavelength and poor ability to overcome obstacles, the observation effect is poor, but the infrared wavelength is longer, especially for thermal imaging cameras that work at 8 to 14um. The rain and fog have high ability, so the target can still be observed normally. Therefore, at night and in severe weather conditions, infrared thermal imaging monitoring equipment can be used to monitor various targets such as personnel and vehicles.

2. Fire monitoring

Because the outdoor thermal security camera is a device that reflects the surface temperature of an object, it can be used as an on-site monitoring device at night, and can also be used as an effective fire alarm device. In a large area of forest, fires are often caused by unobvious hidden fires. of. This is the root cause of devastating fires, and it is difficult to find signs of such hidden fires using existing common methods. The use of outdoor thermal security cameras can quickly and effectively detect these hidden fires, and can accurately determine the location and scope of the fire, and find the fire point through the smoke, so as to know and prevent and extinguish it early.

3. Recognition of camouflage and concealed targets - Ordinary camouflage is mainly based on anti-visible light observation.

The crimes committed by criminals are usually hidden in the grass and woods. Due to the harsh outdoor environment and human visual illusions, they are prone to misjudgment. The outdoor thermal security camera device passively receives the heat radiation of the target itself. The temperature and infrared radiation of the human body and the vehicle are generally much greater than the temperature and infrared radiation of the vegetation, so it is not easy to camouflage, and it is not easy to make wrong judgments.
